I think Scully was sad about Monica but I think she felt she needed to be strong for Doggett. Plus if she got upset it would be more crying from Scully. We've had enough for awhile. And beteween her and Doggett it would have been a sob fest.

That's true Scully can keep a mask over herself re: her emotions. I guess that's why some think she's been too open lately about Mulder. It seems unScullylike.
