She won't mind there. DW: Tom's early years have horror movie type stories. Or borrow from other sci-fi. Robots of Death uses Isaac Asimov's "Robot" stories. Talons of Weng-Chiang was the Sherlock Holmes story, the villains are out of a Fu Manchu story.

Leela was great, very different from the screaming females of the past. I liked Sarah Jane alot too, the shows nod to feminism. I'd say I liked almost all the Davison stories, some were better than others but all were pretty good.

I hated Black Orchid at first since it wasn't action packed and had no sci-fi elements but it grew on me later. It was wonderful to see the Tardis crew take a load off and have fun rather than be chased up and down corridors for three eps.

McCoy's brief era had The Curse of Fenric and Ghost Light, both very strange eps that need repeated viewings to figure out. The McCoy Dalek ep finally had them be able to ascend stairs. I liked the Cybermen as much as the Daleks, the Zygons were more convincing than most. The Rani never got a good ep, her pretending to be Mel was a low point. What about the Master? Which one was better?

Buffy: I feel that the deal with B/S is this: young ladies go throughn the need for a romantic relationship with all the joy and torture that entails. She had Angel and Riley for that. Spike is for pure sex. Well, there is some passion there but he's the bad boy girls like to let go with. But she has recognized this and ended it. Maybe he'll redeem himself to her. Gotta say, the finale is a complete mystery to me. I miss having a big bad working up to an ultimate plan. Who'd you like better: Angeleus, the Mayor, Adam or Glory?

Answer this Off Topic if you want to continue. Det is not into Buffy/Angel at all. That cop lady on Angel made an X-Files reference, did you catch that one?
