Does that surprise you that Mayor Wallace spurts out false comments to the public? If you have ever listened to him speak you will notice that he frequently does this. The problem is, the people of Quesnel are stupid and they take Mayor Wallace for his word. One just has to go back to the PSL scandal and look at what Mayor Wallace said in the last election or two. Or how about the no tax increase promise by Mayor Wallace. People in this community just do not care. Politicians in this town do not have to be accountable as they are not held accountable.

The City has paid off the local media. Neil Horner should be Mayor Wallace's next campaign manager as he is too scared to print anything negative about the City or the Mayor. Has the City threatened to pull it's excessive advertising in the Observer if there is a negative story printed? It would be interesting to see how much money the City paid the Observer for advertising when Jerry MacDonald was around or when Mike Pearce was Mayor.

As for a referendum to see if the residents of Red Bluff/Dragon Lake really do want to become a part of the city limits, Good Luck!!! We all know what the mayor thinks of referendums. Again, just refer back to the PSL scandal. It just show us, to hell with the people of Quesnel and area, it is all about what Mayor Wallace wants. If he wants it, he will get it no matter how it hurts our areas citizens!
