The following is entirely speculative...:

Since Brian's piano track for 'All Along the Watchtower' (recorded at Olympic in London) was never used for Jimi's version and the song was finished at the Record Plant in midtown W44th St what do you think the chances are that Brian might have come by the RP in '68 to drop in on Hendrix?

The old club The Scene was right around the corner according to engineer Eddie Kramer and Jimi spent a lot of time jamming with friends there and bringing them back to record at the RP.......
