Responding to this- YES I would do it again- I made it there with two of my buddies I still hang with. We drove up in my Chevy it was about 5-6 hrs away & my friend said let me drive & he took the keys- we made it in about 5-6 hrs no kidding!
He went through the gates at the Throughway without stopping, he would not let us make apit stop- we were drinking wine, he made us hold it, he went through the grass & down a hill when stopped at the exit by the Highway Patrol at the Exit to Watkins Glen or something I guess- Apparently
They alledgedly were not letting people in who did not live in the area. I was little paniked & afraid they would get my plate number or something- obviously it was not an ISSUE!!

WE drank wine all the way there & were smiling wne we got in , we drove in as far as we could & parked the car. Some freak gave me a sleeping bag because he did not want to carry it. I carried it awhile but HEY it was warm So I gave it to some dude who was trying to crash out on his car hood.We -drank wine all the way but did not have anything else- soon we did. All shared- We got up the hill a ways & just sat down & enjoyed all we could- we could see the stage but did not go further- we were fine! We were with all our brothers & sisters all of whom were great people- I miss them- where are all you at? Lets do it again!!!

Two buddies and I drove up from Fort Hill, Pa early

>Both nights helicopters were swooping over the crowd.
>Man that was wild particularly in the state we were
>in. Saturday was such a kick with the rain storm and

>so during the worst of the storm we cruised over to

>folks go sliding down a little hill in the mud. We
>left extremely late Saturday night to head south. When
>we got out to the main road an turned to head home,
>there were cars lining the road for miles with people
>still trying to get in.
