Yeah and it was great. I'll never forget me and my three roomates heard there was some concert in New York. We just hopped in the 1967 Mustang and hit the road. Never even verified a thing, just left. Those were the days. When we got there we parked so far away we had to walk about 5 miles I'll never forget "the road". Being from a small town i Ohio I had never even imagined 600,000 people much less seen them. It was dark by the time we found a clearing to camp out for the night. When morning came there was such an awful smell. Seems we were right next to the outhouses. The same ones that were of fire later on. So we moved back by some trees just in time for spend the night under a big plastic tarp trying to stay out of the rain. Slept on an old blanket in the mud. What a blast! Only a 19 year old could hang till the end. Not to long after the concert I found out I was pregnant with my daughter-who grew up to be a DEAD HEAD. Go figure.
