I was just reminising about the pop festival days and thought about powder ridge...I didn't ever make it there but was on my way with seven other "freaks" coming from Dallas Texas via the Atlanta Festival on July 4th. We got to NYC and our cars got towed because they thought we must be smuggling drugs since we had Texas plates, wasn't a good time to be a hippie from Texas, but anyway we all hung out in the "Village" and I ended up meeting my future x husband there. Be it as it was I guess fate stepped in and I have two great kids and 3 even greater grandkids from that meeting. Sure miss those days they were so free and innocent.
