I was just out of high school.. working as a waitress at a golf resort when I got wind of this concert and, being a dead fan, was determined to go. My parents were not going to allow me to go...I knew that, but I found a way to go with some friends which i was separated from later, and didn't return for four days! My mom was furious when I returned four days later, being dropped off by a kind, well meaning NJ guy.If it wasn't for him I would've walked home which was about 20 mi. away.thanks dude ...i completly enjoyed myself. One night we went down town and went looking for food, because food was scarce at the festival so we ventured in an Italian Rastaurant on main st. and the owner opened his doors to hungry concert goers....dishing out free spaghetti!!1It was totally unexpected...we thought we'd go hungry and didn't care that much...but this elderly Italian man was offering free fare to the hungry....i'll never forget it! He even allowed us as patrons to pass a joint around!! He was sooo cool. After that we ventured back up the hill to the fest. These were awesome memories...and i have many clipppings and photos from this event if anyone is interested contact me, okay stay cool people...LILY
