I've found more info on the concert I was looking for.it was the "Festival of Hope" for the benefit of Nassau Society for Crippled Children and Adults.
It was held in Aug.'72 Jefferson Airplane and Chuck Berry were two of the acts.I hope this will jog someones memory.
In seaching the net all I come up with is the '74 Crosby,Stills and Nash concert.Thank you for your help!
