 I was Cambria APA-36 Deck Dept from Nov '60 through Oct '62 and have just had a 260 letter size page book printed in color with photos and misc cartoons done by me in letters to my wife. It details our travels and what historically was going on. "Gator Navy" is my second book of this type - scanned about 200 letters to my wife, and it could also be called "Wardroom Confidential"! I'll make them available at my cost as I did in a 180 page book, "Cold Warrior", which I sent to several dozen USS Essex CVA-9 shipmates (28 months from '56 to '59). That book also was based upon 200 letters written to my then girl friend - now my wife of 53 years. It's work for me, but I'm happy to get copies to anyone who would like one. I haven't gotten my bill for the 50 new first edition books just received, but it should be about $30 plus $5 mailing.
