Subject: Men who served on LSM 426 during WWII

 My Grandfather Bob Lett served in the Navy as Seaman 1st Class from July of '44 to Feb of '46 aboard the LSM 426. A few months before he passed away, he was able to talk to my son about some of his time served. However we are very interested to know some more about who he served with and more on what exactly their missions were. I have a few pictures of his that include names: Mr. Sarles listed as Company Officer, Mr. Howting Assistant Company Officer, Harvey McAlexander and Chuck McKeever. If anyone can help with this we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
