 My stepdad, Roy Taylor served aboard the DADE APA-99. Last year was the first reunion he attended with his shipmates. They have been having reunions for ten years without Roy. They thought he was dead. I searched and found dozens of other shipmates who were unaware of the reunions. He is really impressed with the Internet now. I'm going to invite him over tomorrow to look at this site, he'll love it. He had a camera and took some pictures during the invasion of Okinawa. He also has "score cards" of enemy ships and planes,target/landing maps, newspapers from the DADE,and his diary of the Okinawa invasion. He will love to browse through the old photos you have posted!
