 I was on board the Hindale in the forward compartment when she was hit. Our company stayed on board and salvaged the cargo and placed it on the Pitt. I also maned a 20mm On the port side as we were towed. It was like I was in the navy. being in the 2nd Pioneer Bn, 2nd Mar. Div.
