Russ,
I just came across your website while doing my own research of the Vadenais Family. My father, Marcel Vadenais, and his brother, Roger, were both born and raised in Woonsocket, RI, and both served in WWII. My father was in the Navy and my uncle was a flyer in the Army and served in China. I see such a striking resemblance of Oscar Vadenais to both my father and my brother, Roger, (named after my uncle)that I am wondering if they could have possibly been cousins. My father was born in 1926 and my uncle in 1918. They both attended Mt. St. Charles Academy and their parents were Felix and Aldea Vadenais. My father passed away in 2004, so I can no longer ask him. If you can provide me with any clarification, I would be appreciative.
