I also trained at the ATB base at Oceanside. I was a member of the beach party as was Tennyson. He was killed at Iwo Jima.I came through without a scratch. I did not know Roy Clark. My date of birth is 6/29/26. I attend an Iwo Jima Survivors Reunion in Witchita Falls,Tx in Feb. So far I have only seen four fellows from the Sanborn there.
