Looking for information on crew members of LST 289 who were aboard during Exercise Tiger. Most were transfered to UNSH Plymouth, England after 289 was torpedoed during Exercise Tiger. My father Russell D. Heaton was transfered from there to USNAAB Dartmouth. I am trying to find out where he was sent during invasion of Normandy. I think to another LST. He was a coxswain. Is there a muster roll available for LST's out of this port?
