Subject: USS Maumee WWII

 My father, Kenneth Hegstad, served aboard the USS Maumee
from 1942 till 1944. I think it was called AO-2 then.
please contact me if you would. I would like to know who the CO of the ship was in this era. He is now 83 and has several stories he still remembers. He was from Dickey North Dakota.
