While looking at his discharge papers we discovered he was on the LCG 426 at Normandy. We knew a little about this, but not the specifics. He was a gunner. Wish I had found this sooner. Where there ever any pictures of this boat? He said it was different from all the other. Hope your dad is still with us and God bless him and thank him for his service.
