My dad was at the training center in 1944.I believe it was boot camp.I have a picture, but it has some damage. On the back is a list of names.I believe my dad was a mechanic.I know he went over sea's on a ship.In my mom's bible it says he recieved baptism and had his first communion on board ship in 1945.His name was George T. Ryan.I'm hoping for ANY info as to where they went, the Ships name and any stories of those who may have been ship mates with him.My dad passed in 1975 and i really feel like I don't know much about him. Thank You to ALL those who have served,I for one appreciate Your service.
