My Father:  Vernon Marvin Bachle  worked on the U-Boat USS NESHOBA APA 216) HE took soldiers to the war sandy  ground--beach fighting the Japanese. his job was to open the U-Boat hatch.  He saw many soldiers (Marines) killed.  My father could never talk about it. 
 
Vernon passed-away this last Sunday April 12, 2015 at 12:22pm.  One week from Easter Sunday. 
 
I am his only daughter:  Judy Louise Bachle (married name:  Hood)He divorced my mother in 1988.  He never remarried.  He will be buried at Ft.Sam Houston Cemetery on April 27th, 2015 this month Monday at 1:00 pm.  Full Military Honors.  I am proud of him.  open to anyone.  would love to meet and talk to his commorades.  Call me anytime I would even cherish talking to other soldiers the USS Neshoba  a p a 216
