Hello, my grandfathers name is Harold E. Leider. He arrived at the U.S.N.T.S. Sampson N.Y. on 8 Aug 1945. I am trying to find any information about his time their. Any pictures or other records would be great as well. If you would like I can also provide his service number if that would make it easier for you to find the records. As he does not recall much about his service I am trying to give him back a piece of his past.
