Parlette, trained in amphibious landing procedures at Sampson before being deployed to England from where participated in the Normandy Invasion on D-Day +6, I believe. Is there anyone still alive or a record of him during his time at Sampson Training Station? I would love to find some photos of memories of him during this period of his life. Thank you so much...
