My father served aboard the USS Kenneth M. Willett DE-354commissioning Ceremonies Orange, TX 19 July 1944.
Ernest C. Ellison 1st Class Petty Officer.
Dad was born in NY, NY on 16 Sept. 1902 and he died on 18 Sept. 1985. I recently found his Navy Covers and his WW 11 dog tags along with his War Issue Bible. Daddy was a fine man and he lived a good life.
As a former US Marine Sgt. E-5 I am proud of his service to his country. My oldest Son Matt is an Ensin in the US Navy Reserve and a grad of the US Merchant Marine Academy keeping the service to our country going.
Anyone serving with Ernest C. Ellison or who knew him PLEASE e-mail me.
God Bless America...
Kindest regards,
Tom Ellison
