 Please write if you knew my dad, Frank Rogus, who went through basic training at Sampson and then went on to serve onboard USS Sampson LSV-6. As a boy in the fifties, he used to take me to Sampson from time to time from nearby Syracuse where we lived. Later, I served in Navy from 1964 to 1978, including some time in the amphibs.
