Subject: Identity Of Serviceman In Picture-My Father?

 I'm checking to see if anyone knows the identity of a man in the section called "Images Of Sampson During The War", page 10. The man on the back row, third from right, resembles my father very much. His name was Carson Gilbert Tipton. I don't know his company number and I don't have his class photo, only his individual Navy portrait. He was at Sampson in November and December of 1943.
