 Served my Boots at Sampson in February 1945. Also CIC at Fargo Bldg. and Radar School Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
In June 1945 I worked for the Dupont Plant for I believe 16 hrs.I have my pay stub, I have been wracking my brains for years try to remember what work I did there. I think I remember going across the Lake to the plant with other Sailors. I just would like to know what it was I did there. I had no special talent so must have been some sort of manual labor I suppose. At age 82 years my memory not that good anymore but I do know I have that pay stub. Also I am a Plank Owner of the USS Oregon City CA 122.
