 I am looking for records for my family. I had an uncle that served in the Amphibious Forces and engaged battle both at Okinawa and Iwo Jima. I can not find his name anywhere. I think he was awarded medals but not sure how to find out. His name was Alvern Reo (or Allvern Rio/Reo) He was born in Cleburne Ark. and died in Pulaski Ark. He had a son named Robert Allen Holland. In the family everyone called him "Fats". Can you help me?
