Slemp aka Frosty [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 06:09:20 01/26/06 Thu I am trying to find out if anyone knew my dad aboard USS San Saba in WW2 his name was Forrest M. Slemp his nickname was Frosty. I think that he was a gunners mate,he was caught giving a haircut and was made ships barber from what I was told. My dad died in March 1976 he was 56 years old.
