 I am trying to track my father's military service. I know he enlisted June 2, 1943 and trained at USNTS, Sampson with Training Company 203-D2. My questions are:

How long was the basic training program at Sampson in June 1943?

Does anyone know when Training Company 203-D2 began training?

Also, my dad's discharge papers have the following abreviations:

ABATU, Lido Beach, LI, NY
NARO, 114 USNAAB Dartmoth, Devon
USNH, Sampson, NY

Could someone please translate these abbreviations?
