His discharge papers list that base, but do not actually use the name "Okinawa". I just knew he was at Okinawa so I am glad to get clarification that 3256 and Ok are the same place. While he was on route there from San Bruno Calif, the war ended. He landed on Okinawa on Sep 11, 1945 and was there only about a month. His name was Wallace W. Stahl and he passed away in 1984.
