 I was so thrilled to see this website and subsequently your message. My father served aboard the USS Wayne. I accessed this site to try and find some information about the ship for him. He wanted a picture of it. Boy is this whole thing a surprise!! I am going to copy down your information and ask him about your grandfather. Today 02/19/03 he is at an appointment at the Vet's. I will go over there tonight and give him what I have found. I will try to contact you again, if he does in fact know your grandfather. If you don't hear from me in a couple of days, please feel free to email me.
