 My father was at Sampson towards the end of 1943 and then went to VA for further training. It was from VA that he was assigned to LSM 151. He passed away in 1984 and I never got to find out about his Navy days in the Pacific.

If you know of anyone who came in contact with LSM 151 or its crew, associated with the ship or have photos of Sampson, Ormoc Bay or other actions in the Pacific, please contact me.

I would like to form a reunion of all surviving members of LSM 151 but I am afraid there are only a handful remaining.
