 I met Steve when I assisted with the Sampson Museum Periscope Installation in May 1998. I stopped to visit Steve and the museum several times since then. I had hoped to visit Steve during the most recent reunion last month. That was not possible due to his failing health. My condolences to his family. He will be missed.
