Subject: USS Jerauld APA 174

 My father was on the USS Jerauld APA 174. His name is Lewe Max (Pete) Brown. He was on the boat crew. He has some wonderful stories to tell. He is almost 82 years old but his memory is as good as it ever was. I love to sit and talk to him about this time in his life. He was telling me about the initiations crossing the equator. He said all he had on was some jockey shorts. I have seen some of the pictures. They look kind of scary. ha ha
He lives in Enterprise, AL He would love to hear from you. If you get a chance, e-mail me and I will get you two together. I know it would be good for him to talk to someone that was actually there. Thanks Barbara Sessions
