Here's the poop on what I saw last night 'bout the Hounds:

1). Manhattan is better, no doubt.
2). You took out their big-guy for the whole game. As a result, the Jaspers did not have an inside game and shot less than 25% from the field.
3). The two Manhattan youngsters (one looks 12 years old!)who rotate at point guard did nothing.
4). You have two players with flowing blonde hair who do nothing. They run a round and pass the ball on the perimeter without ever even thinking of shooting. As a result, they did not have to be guarded.
5). You could have won this game. You had nearly a double-digit lead in the first half. The Bronx books were squirming because they laid "19".
6). Manhattan's 2nd half adjustments were to pull the two kids & go with two shooters (Flores & Jackette) and use the rest of the talent.
7). Sum-Up: You had a shot because of the foul situation you created, but you don't have the depth to handle adjustments & matches for the entire game.

PS: Here's the Post story on the Gonzalez/Manhattan "turnaround":

Understand though that a City school has a must better shot at Lappas, Fraschilla & Gonzalez types, plus the City recruits & transfers (Mulligan & Flores) than the Hounds do.
