I agree with all that you say BF.

The really sad thing is that even when we had talented teams, the best MAAC reg season finish was 3rd place in Ellerbe's last season. When you consider that for approx half of our time in the MAAC, the conference was only an 8 team league, this is awful!

That 3rd place team of Ellerbe's included Rowe and Powell in the backcourt, Platt at center, Anthony Smith at small forward, Erik Cooper as the other forward with Darren Kelly who went on to have a pretty career at Texas coming off of the bench. I can't remember if Lamar Butler and Duane Johnson were still around or if Blanchard Hurd was injured during this season but the point is is that we could only come in 3rd place with all of that talent. I don't see anything resembling that talent on the current team so we are a long way away of being even a third place team.
