What you say may be true however, the free market should determine where funds go not the government...the government allocating resources is the reason that communism failed because government is inefficient while the free market is efficient. Believe me, if there was a need for Loyola College, it would exist in some form with or without state aid and it would exist as a more efficient enterprize.

If you argue that Loyola could not exist without state aid then you are essentially saying that Loyola is not necessary.
