I have come across men many times when in an argument they say, who was the one who gave adam the apple?

Well one thing I have to say, Eve was persuaded by the devil. And it makes her seem evil. But both the DEVIL and GOD are depicted as MEN. Also, in reality are usually the ones to pull they're other halves off of drugs and such.
