Sorry for the long post.

Wow that is interesting thought, but you don't see the
>opposite? If there is good there must be a bad...

Why? I don't believe so. Even in our sense level experiences this is not so. When you, e.g. start out to do something, do you do it with the idea in mind that some part of it is going to be ungood (bad, evil, less than perfect), I hope not, I would assume you do it with the idea of doing it to perfection. Of course, this if there is good there must be a bad is the typical way people generally think, but that does not mean it is correct. I suppose its all in the way we look at the physical material manifested universe, is it a thing of great beauty, order and what we define as intelligence, or is it a thing of chaos, confusion and what I call earthbound ungood. I believe it is the former.

I rejected the idea of "original sin" or vicarious sin and then redemption through a vicarious act many, more than I like to remember, years ago when I was only about 8 years old. To me it simply does not make sense. I rejected the idea of a being-deity, a human crafted tribal god, somewhere along the way, and have evolved my thinking into a belief in what I define, but never describe, as Infinite Principle, Divine Mind, and Infinite Presence, Eternal Now. (BTW, these are commonly used Metaphysical phrases). I like to use the words timeless, formless limitlessness to define it, but then this can be a bit confusing without a somewhat lengthy explanation.

how do you explain the evil in the world?

I believe so-called evil is merely the absence of good. I believe that good, I call it Absolute Good, is the only reality, it represent the orderly evolving material world as well as the ever evolving perfect physical "creations" that exist upon it. If there was no "perfect" expression, we would have no way of knowing what was imperfect. Metaphysician call this Divine Order and it simply means that this manifested expression follows a logical, reasoned meaningful existence. Then what is ungood, evil. It is not natural phenomena, such as earthquakes, disruptive weather patterns or any other expressions of the evolving material manifestation. It is not the natural evolutionary activities of the so-called "lower levels" of the physical manifestation, or even of our own expression (without perfection how could you tell imperfection). Quite simply it is the human expressions misuse of good. It is the human inability to understand its divine reality. It has no real existence, existing only for the moment and subject to change when truth is understood and put into practice.

It took me to reads to wrap my mind around your thought. Have you read the Screw tape letters? Talk about wrapping you brain around something, it deals with the thoughts of a adversary and how he trains his Jr. I am still working on understanding the book, I have 6 day till my book club meets to discuss it.

No, I haven't, I have never heard of it, but I will ask our local book store if she can order it. Can you give me the exact name of the book and the author, and publisher if possible. Thank You

So tell me how you see a world with out the opposite?

As a Divine Idea world, perfectly manifested from a Divine Idea, ever evolving, where as a human expression I have the ability to use all of the good that has been manifested for human good use. For me there is no opposite, but of course, I do fail (fall) from time to time, but if there was not a perfect way, no Divine Order, I would never know I had failed to do the right thing.

I like to say I am a Divine Idea, I think in Divine Ideas. Of course, this goes for all human expressions, not just me.

It is much more complex than this, but this will give you some idea of the way I think.

Regards
