A Sunday At Chris(Yucaipa)' House

Well, those of you losers who flaked on us missed a heck of a day! After we got to Chris' house (in Bum-f*ked Egypt!), we unloaded the mass of vehicles from Russ Subaru, Dug out Chris' Burns Buggy, and prepared for battle. I sent Russman and Chris to the market for carne asada and used the time to bring Chris' buggy back from the dead--geez, Chris, ever heard of WD-40 and a rag? LOL!! His buggy was so unused, the tires where literally stuck to their resting place, and had to be torn off to lift the buggy!! So, me, Little Erwin (GoGo Fast) and Kimberly, got to work: we donated a spare set of wheels/tires, a spare wing (his Lexan wing had seen better days), knocked-off whatever dirt we could and de-rust her as much as possible. Whew! That took some work! When Chris and Russ return, Russ fires up this tracked Snow Cat thing and proceeds to bore us to death with it's less than stellar acceleration...Still, it was cool watching this universal-terrain marvel get stuck in Chris rose garden...LMFAO!! Now it was time for the buggies....WOW!! These things are freakin'fast!!! Even the ol' Burns, once fired up, was a rocket!! Chris lit her up, and proceeded to make a couple of top-speed passes in the road in front of his house...awesome!!! That thing was ballooning the tires and making a great racket!! Then we fired-up my MP-6, and it sounded even more fierce! That thing is high strung! We were lighting it up: jumping, sliding, mowing some grass, and even flipping (Chris did this cool gymnastic-tumbler impersonation with his Burns....he got a 9.5 for execution, though his landing could use some work...LOL!!!). We even got my HPI Racer Touring car out there--I was drag racing cars that dared take my little racer on!!! The neighbors gathered to wathc the spectacle... After the fun (and great crashes--Chris managed to destroy a wing in under 10 minutes; a new record, for sure!), we sit back and enjoy a beer or two and some carne asada courtesy of Chris' bar be que....All in all, an awesome day!

OH, and after careful consideration, I have to add: Buggies Rule!!!
