Subject: The off-road buggies look like fun but seemed to spend a lot of time "on their Back's". The road racing looks wicked. The drivers state that after a 5 minute heat they are totally pumped. I'm trying to decide if I go 1/8 or 1/10 scale. I like the 1/8 cars better but I'm concerned about what level of skill and knowledge is required to run these cars. Some People say if your "green" then to stay away from 1/8 scale, other say it's not that difficult just start off with a tame engine. Any comments?
In reply to: RCwhat 's message, "yes the serpent is the best as far as i know, mind you i have never owned any one of these, but from what i hear the $erpent is the best and probably the most expensive. I don't particularly care for on-road, i get bored too quick, i need the off road, climbing, jumping, breaking, cartwheeling, flipping action." on 13:16:23 03/05/02 Tue
