Ryan, HI! Welcome! I don't know if there is such a beast as a dual ESC. In any event, due to heat and efficiency factors, I would strongly recommend that you buy two ESCs. ESCs get very hot and two motors would surely overwhelm any ESC. I bought two very good ESCs on eBay for about $40 each--you may find even better deals. -- R/C Car Nitro and Electric Forum

I thought some of the good esc could handle 2 motors on one output. I'm not sure how their rated but I was told that some can handle the higher load of two motors. I don't know. (NT) -- Ryan OH, 13:32:20 03/13/02 Wed

How is that set up do you just split the wires at the reciever so you can hook both up and then I assume they each have their own battery. And will they synchronize easily? (NT) -- Ryan OH, 15:52:43 03/13/02 Wed
- Precise synchronization isn't critical in a loose-traction environment (like dirt...); as a matter of fact, some 4wd race vehicles are equipped with different gearing front to rear. Still, you must set up your ESC's so that they are close. You can run the battery packs parellel or serial--depending upon how much power vs. longevity you want.
