Subject: Ryan, HI! Welcome! I don't know if there is such a beast as a dual ESC. In any event, due to heat and efficiency factors, I would strongly recommend that you buy two ESCs. ESCs get very hot and two motors would surely overwhelm any ESC. I bought two very good ESCs on eBay for about $40 each--you may find even better deals.
In reply to: Ryan OHIO 's message, "Just popped over here from the TL board. Does anyone have a speed controller they will sell that will power dual motors in a Clodzilla. If you do you might want to email me I don't know if this will be a regular forum that I visit. I may have to stop back over at Prozac's site, I had a good laugh when I checked it out." on 10:56:55 03/13/02 Wed

  • I thought some of the good esc could handle 2 motors on one output. I'm not sure how their rated but I was told that some can handle the higher load of two motors. I don't know. (NT) -- Ryan OH, 13:32:20 03/13/02 Wed
  • Ryan, One of the kids at the local Hobby Shop races an E-Maxx and uses a dual (two) ESC set-up, and said that this was the way to go.... (NT) -- Erwin8r in Los Angeles, 15:21:28 03/13/02 Wed
