I saw the very interesting interview with Charlotte by Parkinson on BBC Prime, and I was fascinated by her account. I have, sadly, never had the opportunity to see any of her films, but I am certain that they are good.

I don't know where to write this otherwise (I guess I missed the "contact webmaster" link), so I'd like to post it here.

Two friends of mine, Christophe and Hedwige Boesch, have studied the life and habits of the wild chimpanzees during more than 12 years in the Taļ National Park, Ivory Coast, Africa. Christophe Boesch is now the director of the Department of Primatology at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig, Germany.
After having lived in Africa for over 12 years, the Boeschs founded the Wild Chimpanzee Foundation, WCF (www.wildchimps.org). It is a multi-national foundation created and advised by individuals who join efforts to preserve as many as possible of the remaining wild chimpanzee populations and their natural habitat throuhout their range in Africa. They have got numerous projects running, and are also trying to make themselves heard by the public - which isn't that easy.
Christophe and Hedwige Boesch have also appeared in a TV-film by Richard Attenborough, called "Too Close for Comfort", where their work with the chimps is shown.

I would be very happy if you could put the link to the Wild Chimpanzee Foundation (www.wildchimps.org) on your Link Page. It would mean a lot. Thank you.
Also, is there any way of contacting Charlotte Uhlenbroek? Joining efforts to help save the chimpanzees would be very good.

Marion, Switzerland.
