Subject: Thoughts after watching Sight Unseen

A very well thought-out episode. There were so much going on that I had to watch the episode back and forth to take all of it in. All of the actors did an excellent job portraying the character and acting out the scenes in general.

Several things struck me about this episode. The first thing was that Phoebe would believe that a trap consisting of magical crystals around the BoS. Then, during the end, Prue sort of let it slide for the time being(as U.S. fans now know in the episode "Primrose Empath", she now doesn't suspect Cole as much). Perhaps it's Prue's way of saying to Phoebe that she doesn't want to be seen as the bad girl here even if she risks putting Phoebe in grave danger. After all, back in Season 1, Prue and Pheebs were not going along well.

The second thing that struck me was Piper and Leo were able to overcome their insecurities about re-consumating their love and sleep together once again. This certainly will have a lot of ramnifications with the Elders but I tend to think that their love for each other is so strong that it's going to be very difficult for the Elders(or the Triad, for that matter) to break them apart. Well have to see.

The third thing that struck me was that the issue of home security was even addressed during the episode. After all, it's not the first time that the Manor has been invaded by demons, warlocks, etc.. It's funny that Darryl had to bring it up now that he has found fingerprints that didn't belong to a demon. Just what home security is out there to protect the Manor from warlocks and darklighters? LOL

I get the feeling that Balthazor's plan to get to The Charmed One is, actually, a master plan. My reaction to the Triad's contention that their failures to get to The Charmed Ones were actually "effective information gathering" is one of befuddlement. They certainly wanted to destroy them the first time they sent demons after them. I tend to agree with Balthazor on this one, thereby, concluding that he has a master plan. The point of all this is that he's getting really frustrated that the Triad is sending all the other demons to get The Charmed Ones and he wants all the glory.

The fourth thing that struck me was that there was a surprise after all. I have to give kudos to the production team for setting up everything possible to pull the whole thing off. There was no chance that I could've predicted something like this. Now that thing I have to ask is whether, in casting the human villain for this episode, they may have casted someone that fit a too generalized profile. Yes, I understand that they wanted to show us that one can't always suspect the guy in such situation. Still, Abbey is regular-looking. Certainly not as beautiful as The Charmed Ones, IMHO. Apart from that, the actress should receive calls for other acting jobs because she certainly made an impact. :)

Other thoughts:
-Prue being temporarily blinded by having her head pushed into that fluid certainly gives a new perspective to her persuit of photography. LOL (I'm feeling bad today ^_^)
-Isn't that guy's 15 minutes of fame already up?
-Just what Phoebe sees in Cole?
-If this keeps up, Piper is going to pop a vein.
-Finally, a premonition. :)

Best Lines:

Phoebe: Would that be the pillow-smothering demon?

Prue: You know...I have as trouble finding men as you.
Abbey: Nooo! You mean Shawn? He's a loser and you're a winner!
