that is so cool. i would love to live in the uk. how'z the holiday anyway? i'm going on holiday to queensland. how do the holidays and school terms and years work in the uk?

in australia we start at the beginning of february and then have two weeks easter break. then we go back until the beginning of july when we have another two weeks. then we go back until september or somewher there and have two weeks off and then we go until the beginning of december and then have six weeks until the new year.

our schools work by kindergarden(5-6years old)-grade six(11-12years old) which is primary school. then we have grade 7(12-13years old)-12(17-18years old) which is high school. i'm in grade 10 so i'm 14 years old turning 15. we have our school certificate in grade 10 so we can drop out of school after that or we do the SC and go on to year 12 and do the HSC (high school certificate). if we get a good percentage mark in the HSC then we can choose what course we do at university, depending on the mark you get.

what do y'all wanna do when you finish school? i wanna become a primary school teacher coz i really enjoy working with kids. or i could become an actress coz i really enjoy it.
