Wow! Did someone spike your Sunday morning Ovaltine with hallucenigens? Believe it or not, this case--which has been ajudicated dozens of times--is over and the the most compassionate things were done before too many right wing politicans had an opportunity to grandstand on this formerly private issue by campaigning directly for votes.

"A *faithful* spouse has standing. A spouse who has already reproduced via a 'replacement,' common-law spouse--deserves no higher legal standing (versus birth-family-members) than would a stranger off the street."

Could you cite for me the case law in which you have arrived at the above conclusion? I don't believe Michael Schiavo is a stranger off the street, but many strangers in religious fanatic garb and zeal were attempting to take control of the situation and one person will be going to jail for offering up a death threat towards Mr. Schiavo. That's what is actually against the law.

"Three people have exposed themselves to prosecution for perjury (if they lied), in sworn affidavits that: for the first 7 years of Terri Schiavo's disability, Michael Schiavo denied having any clue whether Terri wanted/would-want her life preserved or ended. Then he shacked-up and suddenly had an epiphany? Had he been a Republican in some elected office, would our 'unbiased©,' 'Mainstream®' Media or the Party it serves--have given him such a pass? It's called 'Conflict of Interests,' at the very least."

We, eventually, will find out if the supermarket tabloids were correct about any of this salacious gossip. While we're playing the guessing game, let me mention that Bob and Mary Schiavo will probably end up having to account for dragging this case out to 15 years. As I wrote on the day Terri passed on, the parents tried to delay indefinately the day they had to let her go. It's all very very tragic and sad, however, sticking the Florida taxpayers with a huge health care bill in a very high-end hospice for eternity just isnt the thing to do.

From what I understand, Mr. Schiavo is a Republican and, as in the vast majority of instances, even conservatives step up and do the most compassionate thing and stop the suffering of their loved ones. That's exactly what embattled Rep. Tom DeLay did after his grandfather sustained a brain injury in 1988.

Also, I don't get where you think the legitimate news outlets are against Republicans, when the media were the ones responsible for conditioning the general public and the voters how wonderful it was going to be to attack Iraq and get rid of Saddam's WMD. That was all a lie by Bush and his handlers to control the oil in that country. Very little reports on that, but you can believe what you want. Most Faux News viewers will do that.

"If there is a fire, you let the Fire Department put it out while debating whether it should burn. You can always torch it again; UN-burning it could be difficult. Few tests and NONE that have become available in the past decade were run on Terri Schiavo because her MASTER/OWNER forbade it. He was reproducing via his shack-up but was still permitted to OWN her as exclusively as any master ever owned a slave. That's a hole in our principles of Equal Protection Under the Law--for which there is no excuse, even if the Religious Left fancies it will punish Republicans. Whatever WAS left of her brain, it's chemically too similar to body-fat and will be consumed during starvation--handily destroying any evidence against the catechism of the death-worshippers. Removing her hydration and nutrition WHILE debating whether it should be done--started a process of destruction that could not be undone. It doesn't rise to the level of adolescent logic, but it DOES rise to the level of comtempt of Congress. Article III is quite clear. Congress makes the laws. Judges in State courts don't. UNLESS there's something to hide that's best-hidden by starving a disabled person to death--you DO err on the side of life even if you heard a Republican say it and you believe all Republicans are evil. If it turns-out letting her die was the right thing to do and she's still alive, you can still kill her. Once she's dead, you can't undo THAT decision. Did the Religious Left learn NOTHING from their rush to shut Timothy McVeigh up?"

You seem to be repeating yourself over and over to the point of ad nauseam, so if you have a medical degree and know more about the Schiavo concluded matter than dozens upon dozens of doctors who actually examined Terri (caught on 2002 tape) then you can explian away to us her cerebral cortex, over several years of inactivity, being replaced by spinal fluid and offering a learned opinion that she could have recovered.

Finally, who is saying that all of the GOP is evil? I just think that people, such as Bush, who tried to expolit the Schiavo matter for political gain are beneath contempt and it is they who will have a few problems down the road when they want the public to back their future wars in Iran, North Korea, Syria, etc. That sham "culture of life" is exposed as a fraud when they advocate dropping more bombs on innocent women and children!

"Your actual mileage may be different, but this case exposed a mess for FL Voters to clean up. Until they do--guess who holds FLORIDA's Feeding-tube. RKBA! Best regards."

I'll say! Some of us have actually followed this matter on the news and realized when the B-roll video package rolled to reintroduce Ms. Schiavo to the viewing public every half hour that footage was 5-10 years old. She could not move and/or respond, as was the case on the final release of court documented tape from 2002. There still are 2 other unreleased videos that have not been made available to the legitimate news outlets. Most likely, for a very good reason since they are more sickening than the last release.
