Considering how much anatomy that isn't ...of interest I'd still have to examine as if it were, while probably being accused non-stop of taking an undue interest in it--I'd expect the pay to reflect the skills required AND the hostile nature of the workplace.

Lest that invite any assumptions from passers-by: no matter who you are or what trips your trigger, there would be a lot of Commercial-air passengers you'd rather not examine thus. It will be a different lot than the next person's, but it will still be a lot. For that reason (and the nature of the images) I would expect not to be often (if ever) aroused if a screener. And I would expect to be just one more --er-- face in the crowd if a passenger.

Were I setting the system up, I believe I would arrange it such that the passenger never saw the face of the screener and vice-versa, unless the scan revealed something security-critical. It's one of those situations in which interaction between the two is very likely to serve no useful purpose. But I'm not setting the system up. I would, however, offer my services as an Exhibitionist, to explore how any "...electronic fig-leaf" might be exploited by terrs, because it could be.

I should mention I once worked in a Naval Base Security organization while an Enlisted man. I wasn't looking at peoples' birthday-suits--just I.D., driver's license & vehicle registration/rental-documents. But as shrilly as some protested that--while expecting to drive onto the base--a person unable to see the proceedings and understanding no English would wonder.
