It was meant to keep the eyes and minds off of

women while in worship...young men are more

interested in women then the worshiping.

im not joking its a fact..

thats why women where advised to wear them, some

where forced...the most attractive women where

forced to where them...they caused to much of

an attraction to the men of the congregation.

because mens minds are attracted more

to women then god. And in the early churches

they where having big problems with that subject.

Just like now....

Many young men and women go to church to find

a mate. If not they usually end up seeking one.

The headcover was to keep mens eyes and minds on

the worshipping and off of the women.

Women tend to forget that mens attraction to them

is different in most cases then womens attraction

to men.

Men fight over women and there jelousy rate is much

higher. In the early church it caused alot of

problems. Just because men have something in them

that is almost uncontrollable at a young age.

a desire and a need that can crash a mans life.

Most men and women get that desire confused with

love. Christ is the only love there is.

Christ came here too show us that there is another

way. and if we overcome such needs and desires we

can have a life in christ...

So the early church tried to practice that.

As you can see things have changed.
