I for one am glad Tim is back. His musical influence with both the pipe and drum corps cannot be over stated. I particularly like his use of "dark shaded" expression (his term, not mine) with the bass. Truly musical genius. Adding that contra-alto tenor drum was another one of his brilliant ideas.

I think Tim's most lasting impact will be with the pipe corps. His idea for carving the chanters to give us the additional "high B" note will make tunes like God Bless America sound even more musical. That one added note has increased our reportoire tremendously.
