I agree, the results were not exactly as we had hoped them to be, BUT, they also did not tell us anything that we already didn't know. The early E's can be easily attributed to a little "first time jitters" THIS TIME. The "Playing in unison" thing is a practice and focus issue and we all know how we can fix that. I think in summary what the judges seem to indicate is that we have not got everyone totally on the same sheet of music yet. This should not be a total surprise to anyone. I'm sure we can get this worked out. Tuning is a subjective thing although there were a few reeds out there that could use changing. The bottom line is that we had our first outing and we beat the "DUBBIES", from here we all need to keep our focus on the objective. An old friend used to tell me "Onward and Upward" See you all on Wednesday. I vote for Jimmy as the "Bass Drummer of the Day". Thanks Jim, that was one of the things that you do that will not be repaceable.>
